Founded in 2017 by industry veterans Danny Wood and Kenneth Messer, Gulf Coast Solar was built on decades of hands-on experience and a shared passion for excellence in solar energy.

• Danny Wood started his career as a solar installer and spent 16 years mastering his craft while pursuing a rigorous 4-year electrical apprenticeship at Suncoast Tech. His deep technical expertise and dedication to quality set the foundation for our high standards today.

• Kenneth Messer entered the solar industry in 2011, developing his skills as an installer and electrician while also furthering his education at Suncoast Tech. His knowledge and precision have been essential in shaping our turnkey solar solutions.

Together, they saw an opportunity to create a solar company that delivers high-quality installations without cutting corners—a company built on integrity, expertise, and genuine customer care.
